PRIVACY · LAST UPDATED SEP 06, 2026
Privacy, without vague promises.
The experiment is designed to publish aggregate behavior, not supporter identities.
What the experiment application records
- Aggregate events such as first-seen visit, checkout click and share click.
- A short source label from URL parameters such as
src/utm_source, or a referrer hostname when the browser provides one. - A localStorage marker in your browser so an ordinary repeat visit is not intentionally counted again as a first-seen browser visit.
Clearing browser storage, private browsing or switching devices can create another first-seen visit. This is why public methodology describes the denominator as best-effort first-seen browsers rather than unique people.
What is not part of the public dataset
Supporter names, email addresses, card details, PayPal credentials and individual payment records are not published. The payment listener keeps aggregate payment counts and a bounded set of payment message IDs for deduplication.
Third parties
The site is hosted using Cloudflare Pages infrastructure. Payment is handed off to Ko-fi and PayPal. Those providers may process standard request, account, device or payment information under their own policies. Hosting/network layers may also maintain ordinary security and operational logs; this page does not claim otherwise.
